{the StanleeAnn bag}

Photobucket
I almost can't believe that I haven't posted anything in over a month. I've been so busy with several photo shoots, editing photos, sewing for clients and sewing for my daughters. I made 2 prom dresses in the last month (I'll post them really soon), not to mention getting ready for my daughters graduation {taking more of her senior pictures, editing them, making her graduation announcement, having them printed and sending them out}.  I'm also working on a surprise for her graduation gift.  Of course I can't mention what it is yet, because I don't want to give it away.

StanleeAnn wanted me to design her purse similar to her friends purse that she had just seen, so, although this was probably the most difficult purse that I have designed to date, I think it turned out really nice.   The top zipper pocket reaches all the way to the bottom of the bag.  The bottom zipper goes to the bottom as well and as you can see it is pretty shallow, but would be perfect for pens/pencils or other small items.

The original purse had three zippers across the front, but StanleeAnn wanted a pocket with a flap for her cell phone, so that one is in the middle.  It has a magnetic snap closure.

This is the backside of the purse, with the coordinating fabric for the back pocket.

There is a zipper closure, which I have never done on a purse before, so that was challenging working out how to make that work properly.

Inside are a zipper pocket & a slip pocket!

And bonus, a little pen loop!

If you would like to custom order a purse like this one please contact me @ chelscraps(at)yahoo.com.  This style purse would be $25 + the cost of fabric & supplies (+ $5 for priority shipping).
