I love this hat pattern.  This one is a newborn size and would be so adorable on a little baby girl!

a new bag for makyla {scripture tote}

I've made so many bags for my girls, but Makyla (my 13yo) insisted she needed another one for her scripture bag.  Then as soon as I was done making it, she decided she wanted to use it for school too.  Silly girl!

I tried so hard to hide this silly mistake, but there's not a chance in this picture.  I've never done this before and probably should have fixed it, but I decided not to, and knew Makyla wouldn't care {and just as I suspected, she didn't}!   Do you see it?

{pink, green, yellow cross-body bag ~ for stanleeann}

One of my clients, StanleeAnn, wanted me to make another cross-body bag for her.  This time I made a few changes.  She decided she wanted me to switch the orientation of the bag, so it would sit on her left shoulder instead of her right shoulder.

The main part of the bag is made out of decor fabric, so it's a little thicker than the regular cotton that I normally make bags out of.

This bag is very similar to the last bag I made for StanleeAnn, with a few changes.

made the bias tape from fabric she chose to coordinate with the stripes fabric she bought. She also decided she wanted a slip pocket in the back, so I added that too.

StanleeAnn likes these little pen/pencil holder inside her bags too.

{ties for deb's boys}

These were some custom ties I made for Deb back a few months ago. She let her 4 year old son pick out the fabric and wanted me to make a tie for him and a tie onesie for his little brother. Then she decided to throw in one for dad as well.

I decided to surprise Deb and threw in this cute little zippered pouch for her as well.
