I decided to try my hand at freezer paper stenciling. Some of my friends have done this several times and I finally decided to try it. Spencer wanted a Harry Potter t-shirt & since I know nothing really about Harry Potter I had to do a little research and asked my friend, Jen, a lot of questions about all of the different things that I was finding on the internet.
The other day while we were driving around, Spencer said something about Muggles and I asked him what Muggles were and he told me "non-wizards". So I asked him if that makes him a Muggle and he said "Yes". He said it so matter of factly, like "duh, mom, don't you know this already". It was kind of funny. Then, yesterday, when he opened his t-shirt he read it & said "muggies", even funnier. I guess the "L" does look kinda like an "I".
And this is the other t-shirt that I painted for Spencer. He loves to play soccer, so I knew he would like this one. Sorry for the wrinkles. He already wore it yesterday so it was already wadded up & in the laundry basket when I asked him to get it for me this morning.

I made this cute little guy for my son, Spencer, for Christmas. He didn't get quite enough stuffing, but he's still cute. He named him Banana!
Banana was made from a Funky Friends Factory pattern. I love her patterns! She has a tutorial on how to make these googly eyes, so I had to try them. I tried them on Caden's Crazy Cat first and used the eye pattern piece as a guide and downsized it to make "Banana's" eyes. So cute!

Cammi wanted to make some toys for the boys this year so I helped her with these. I think this little guy got a little too much stuffing, but he's still cute.
And then we made this penguin for Spencer. Spencer told me tonight that he had to take his stuffed animals with him to his cousins house because he can't sleep without them (he's 11 years old-how cute is that?).

Scotty the Sssnake is project #5 of my "Christmas Service Projects". "Scotty" is 54.5" long and about 7" around (his head is a little bigger around).
I made a snake like this one for my son, Spencer last year (pictured here) & I made one for Caden's birthday earlier this year, but the pictures of that one seem to be lost in space somewhere, so I will post them when I find them.
