{Jasline's backpack & pouch}

I decided after making backpacks and zipper pouches for the last couple of years that I should offer them as a bundle in my shop, especially since school will be starting soon. 

Jasline, in Singapore ordered this combo within hours after I listed it. She wanted them to coordinate with her baby carrier, which is another great idea.

The backpack is the perfect size for a kids backpack or for a diaper bag. It comes with two large pockets inside, a drawstring closure as well as a large flap with a magnetic snap closure.

{pink lace drawstring backpack}

This was a custom made backpack for Ashley N.  She is my 2nd oldest daughter, Cammi's, best friend and when she saw the backpack that I made for Cammi she fell in love with it and wanted one just like it, but in pink, of course, because that's her favorite color.  

I love this lace I found to go over the backpack.

{turquoise chevron & coral backpack}

Here is another custom backpack I just finished today for a client (it's actually for her daughter).  I really wasn't sure about this color combination at first, but I really love how the coral & turquoise look together.

Leave a comment here & tell me what other color combos or print/solid or print/print combos do you think would look good with a backpack like this?  I have another backpack cut out & almost ready to sew, so come back soon to see the combo I came up with for that one.

As a little surprise I added a cell phone pocket that she's not expecting.  It could also double as a pencil/pen pocket.

{chevron backpack ~ for elizabeth}

 I just finished this backpack today for a client. She was worried that the black & white chevron with the red flap and straps wouldn't look good, but I assured her that I thought it would look pretty cool and I am happy to say that I think it turned out even better than I had pictured.  

If you would like to purchase a backpack like this they are $40 + shipping. You can choose the colors/prints/fabrics and I will try to find fabric as close to what you request as possible.  I do accept Paypal or if you would like to pay by credit card I can create a custom listing for you in my etsy shop and you can pay online that way. {chocolate big bow backpack ~ for makyla}

After Makyla, my 13yo, saw the backpack I was making for Cammi, my 17yo (seen here), she decided she wanted one of her own.  She found one online that she liked and wanted something similar to Cammi's with the large bow on it like this one I came up with. The inside is pretty much the same as Cammi's bag. 

 I used the same pattern that I used for Cammi's, so this shows how different the same bag can turn out, but adding different elements and eliminating others.

My 2nd oldest daughter, Cammi, wanted me to make a backpack for her like this one. So I made a pattern and this is how it turned out. Sorry for the  wrinkles, I was too lazy to iron it before I took pictures.
