{a SpEcIaL OwL hAt}
This sweet little hat his going to a special little boy that won't be here on Earth for very long. He is going to be born with several birth defects and they don't expect him to live. I felt very honored to be able to create this special hat for him to have his first and probably only photos taken in and I am praying for comfort and peace for his family.
Jacque ordered this hat for her little great nephew that is due next month.

My son named this doll for me. Emmalie is in California, waiting to see if she will be entered into a magazine. I only use very high quality felt and thread to make my dolls and Emmalie is completely hand-stitched.

{my new owl purse}
This is my new purse I made for myself last weekend.
My best friend is also a seamstress and we were talking a few weeks ago about how we never get to make things for ourselves because we are always busy sewing for others.
So we decided to get together and sew something for ourselves.

Here's another sweet stuffed owl that I've made recently. She is approximately 7.5" tall and 6.5" wide at the widest point of her head. She is made of soft, high quality felt and and all completely hand-stitched.

{Bernard, a stuffed felt owl}
Meet Bernard. He loves the rain (but doesn't like to play in it) and he loves reading Dr. Seuss books, especially "Oh the Places You'll Go".
