Little Miss Elf is a little late in showing up here, but that's my fault. I was so busy with orders the last two months that I haven't had time to blog, so I'm trying to get caught up.
Melissa wanted her Christmas elf made with the eyes embroidered, no jingle bell on her hat and no buttons on her dress. I wasn't sure if I would like this doll without the safety eyes, but I really like how the eyes turned out.
I have a lot of different styles of dolls in my shop. I specialize in custom orders because I want you to get a product that you will love and be happy with. You can order a custom doll over in my Etsy Shop. If you want something different than what you find there please feel free to message me.

I got a request for this little helicopter for a sweet little newborn baby girl named Lacey. She had to be life-flighted from one hospital to a larger one after birth. Her uncle ordered this helicopter for her.
Uncle Nathan asked me to stitch her name on the helicopter. I love how that turned out.

Here's the finished version of one of the embroidery projects that I worked on while camping a few weeks ago. This pouch is up in my shop now.
If you would like to purchase a pouch like this they are $12 + shipping. You can choose the fabrics and a different embroidered design, if you'd like and I will try to find fabric as close to what you request as possible. Contact me at: chelscraps (@) yahoo.com.

I really like how this one turned out. This one is going to be another zipper pouch. This is another project I worked on last week while camping at my family reunion. More pics to come after the pouch is finished. I used this image that I found on Pinterest for my inspiration for this project.

Well, all the stitching is done on my Family Rules embroidery project. I finished this while camping this last week, now I just need to frame it and hang it by our front door. Hmm, the hunt for the perfect frame is on now. I used this image here for my inspiration.

I think this is my favorite of all the embroidery projects I've finished so far. I will be making this into a zipper pouch with the cute pink fabric you can see in the second picture. I haven't ironed off the fabric marker yet, so it'll look nicer when that's finished. This is one of a few embroidery projects I worked on this last week while we were camping.
I can no longer find he image I used for this pattern on the web.

Here's just a little peak of a wallet that I'm working on for my daughter. The embroidery part is done. I'm adding some hexies to the back side of the wallet, then just have to sew it all together. Of course the finished product will be coming soon. I created the pattern for this flower off of one of the prints that I used for the hexies for the other side of the wallet (you'll see that print later when I show you the finished wallet).

This embroidery project is just a little of what I've been working on lately. I'll be heading up to the high country to go camping for my family reunion in a week and wanted some hand-stitching projects that I could work on while we are there, so I'm preparing several projects to take with me. This is just one of them. I plan to frame this and hang it by our front door.
I've also decided to join a group called A Lovely Year of Finishes {go check out their page to get more details}. I'm joining a little late, but it's never to late to get projects done right? So this is my project for July.
Some of my other hand-stitching projects include:
* pillows (with hexies)
* wallets (with hexies)
* a few wallets with embroidery
*an embroidered project for my bedroom
*embroidered zipper pouches
*an appliqued pillow
* and some felt dolls
