{a special monkey blanket}

This little blanket was so fun. Janice wanted a security blanket with a monkey attached for her little one. So I used a cute monkey pattern from Melly & Me and attached it to a little blanket that I made from scratch.

I love how it turned out and really wish I was sewing these when my kids were little.

{a helicopter security blanket}

Katelyn wanted me to make a customized security blanket with a helicopter attached to it.  Just like the ones with an animal head attached, but instead this one has one of the helicopters that I make.

The helicopter is made of soft, flannel fabrics.

The blanket is made with soft & cuddly fabric and the helicopter is sewn onto the blanket.

 Her little baby boy loved the blanket & the helicopter.

You can order a customized blanket in my Etsy shop and choose the colors and the animal or other toy that will be attached.

{Mohair crochet photo prop throws}

I love these mohair throws. I made them for my photography business & they have worked out great.

If you would like to purchase a throw like this they are $25 + shipping. They measure approximately 15"x 25".  You can choose between aqua (shown at top), baby pink (shown above) or cream (not shown).

{Classic baby blanket~photo prop}

I had to mix things up a bit & do a mini blanket. I made this one for a photo prop, to wrap around babies or use as a small blanket under them.   I found the pattern for this blanket at One Little Rayndrop.  I adjusted the original pattern to make it smaller & I did not add the scallop edge.
