Cream Lamb Pixie Newborn Crochet Hat {photo prop}

This is probably my most favorite of all the hats I've made.  Partially because of the adorable style, but also because of the amazingly soft yarn I used.

If you would like to purchase a hat like this they are $25 + shipping. You can choose the color(s) of yarn and I will try to find as close to what you request as possible. I will send you pictures to confirm that you like the fabrics I find, before I start your hat.

Makyla's wallet

Ugh, don't look too close, the stitching on this wallet is terrible.  I made this wallet for my daughter, Makyla last year for Christmas & just realized that I never blogged it.  It was a different pattern that I had never used before & was a little difficult to stitch through the vinyl.  It turned out pretty good, other than my terrible stitching.  She started jr. high this year & has decided that she wants one of the larger wallets that I usually make instead of this little one.
This would be the perfect style of wallet to make for my boys. Hmm, I see a Christmas idea forming!

If you would like to purchase a wallet like this they are $15 + shipping. You can choose the colors/prints/fabrics and I will try to find fabric as close to what you request as possible. I will send you pictures to confirm that you like the fabrics I find, before I start your wallet.  Or if you'd like to purchase the fabrics for your custom wallet then the price would be $10 + shipping.

{Lisa's Aprons}

My dear friend, Lisa asked me to make a few aprons for her.  This first one was a little different.  She wanted it made out of laminated cotton, so it would be waterproof.  This is a special apron she wears while she gives her sweet little dog Bella, a bath.

 And this one is her kitchen apron.  I love the fabrics & patterns she chose.

If you would like to purchase an apron like one of these they are $35 + shipping. You can choose the colors/prints/fabrics and I will try to find fabric as close to what you request as possible.  I will send you pictures to confirm that you like the fabrics I find, before I start your bag.  Or if you'd like to purchase the fabrics for your custom bag then the price would be $25 + shipping. Contact me at: chelscraps (@) yahoo.com.

{Homecoming dress}

I finished making Cammi's homecoming dress at 1am the same morning that I was leaving for Alberta.  There's nothing like waiting until the last minute to get something done.  Homecoming was the week that I was gone to Canada for my good friend's wedding.  Cammi went with a few of her friends, since a guy didn't ask her.  She had a blast, but I was very sad that I wasn't here to see her off that night.
I used the Simplicity #2442 pattern found here.  I did add the dickey in to make it modest.
Can you see the zebra print under the lace? Cammi loves zebra prints & had to incorporate that in there somewhere.
She wore the dress to church today so I had my chance to snap a few pictures of the dress.  My daughter, Miranda did her hair & tried to duplicate it for church today so I could get some photos of that as well (per a request from a friend).

This last one reminds me of how my mom used to curl my hair for special occasions when I was really little...little pincurls!

gray & red ruffle tote bag {love}

This is my new bag.  I started out using this pattern, but then decided that I wanted my bag to be cute on the outside, not just useful.  So I put all the pockets on the inside (still making it useful) & created the ruffle on the outside (making it cute).
I added these little accent tabs by the straps & I love how they turned out.  I thought about adding buttons in the center of the little tabs, but I decided they may look weird because they are not square, but more rectangle.
This bag was just the right size to fit my DSLR camera in on my trip to Alberta last week.  I made this padded bag to carry my big camera in when I want to just put it in my purse. I was also able to fit an extra lens in the padded bag & my zoom lens in the lens cozy (from that same post) all fit inside my purse.
I love the unfinished ruffle across the front.  And I absolutely love the printed fabric.  It has cities from all over the world on it, including the little town I live in!!!

And there are all the awesome pockets inside.  The one where my wallet is was one large one, but I decided it would be more useful as two smaller ones, so I stitched in between to make two.
This top shallow zipper pocket is my favorite.  I love that it is shallow & long so I can put my pens/pencils in there & I can find them very quickly and easily.
I keep my gum & lip balm in this small pocket.
And my business cards & my son's inhaler in this pocket that has a flap.  The flap isn't really necessary on the inside of the bag and if I were to make this one again I would probably omit this.
There's my wallet in the right pocket and in the other one I put my sunglass case and a few other items that fit perfectly in there.
And there's the back.  Not very pretty, but I just wanted to show that it is plain...nothing fancy there.  You can tell I've already been using it a lot!
 One thing I didn't plan for, but have found very helpful with this bag, is that my coupon binder fits in it perfectly.

{gray & red ruffle wallet}

Can you tell I've been on a wallet making kick lately?  Beware, because I'm not finished.  I'm working on several wallets similar to this one as well as other little pouches & coin purses.
 This one is my new one.  I bought this fabric a few months ago & I've been in love with it ever since, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to make with it at first so I just held on to it.  Then when I was getting ready to go on a trip to Canada I decided I wanted to make a new bag.  And of course, with a new bag I would need a new wallet too.  So... stay tuned that one is coming next!
I decided I wanted & needed more card pockets, so I added some on both sides.

And I added a pocket for my paper money.  In this section I also keep my photography business cards & my passport card, as well as bank deposit slips.
My little bottle of pain meds fits right at the top of all the cards.
And last but, not least is the back!

(one more for my sis)

I thought that I posted this back when I posted the salmon wallet I made for my sister.  She wanted another wallet that was big enough to fit all of her typical things that you would carry in a wallet as well as her checkbook.  I created the pattern for this one, to make it a little bigger.
As usual there are 4 card pockets...
and a zipper coin pocket!

{Mindi's wallet}

Here is another custom wallet I made for my sister's best friend, Mindi. The little one is a business card holder, which can be used for your own business cards or to hold your loyalty cards & business cards you collect from your favorite businesses.

Finding this fabric was absolute magic.  My sister gave me the color combination.  I found this fabric & texted her a picture & she was astonished that I could find something almost identical to Mindi's purse.  Wow, how perfect was that.
Zipper coin pocket
4 card pockets & a divider to separate your paper money from other items.
