{chris's custom wallet}
Don't you just LOVE these fabrics?
I love the combination of these colors. This is a custom wallet that I made for my dear friend Chris.
Have you seen a color combo recently that you think would work great for a wallet like this? How about different prints? Stripes, polka dots, gingham, characters, floral, chevron, etc.
Leave a comment and give me some ideas of what you think would look great together.
If you'd like to order a wallet similar to this head over to my shop and place a custom order. You can choose the colors/prints/fabrics and I will try to find fabric as close to what you request as possible.
Please note that I cannot guarantee that I can find exactly what you would like, but I will do my best.
Come visit me on:
I love the color combination! This is something I know my girls would love to make!
ReplyDeleteThank you Megan. It's fun to have a custom made item that isn't just like everyone else's.
DeleteI DO love the colors, and the wallet is adorable. Impressive indeed. I'm sure you will sell a lot, especially with Christmas coming.
ReplyDeleteThank you Laurie, you're so sweet! I fell in love with this fabric when I found it.
DeleteSo cute with a shabby feel to it. (Yes I noticed your shabby blogs background lol)
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennifer! I just changed my background a few days ago. I love being to change things up!
DeleteI love this! The colors go together so well :)You have so many cute things in your Etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nikki! I wouldn't have normally put these colors together, so it's fun when printed fabrics do the work for you.
DeleteSo cute! You're so talented! I really wish I could sew...but for now I'll just admire those who can! I love the colors navy, turquoise, and orange together.

Thank you so much Krissa! That sounds like a great combination of navy, turquoise and orange. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the suggestion.
DeleteI love the combination of colors and the mix of prints! Turquoise is very trendy right now and the colors and prints really compliment each other. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie! I wasn't sure if I wanted to gather up the big circles because I thought it might mess up the print, but I like how it turned out.
DeleteThat is adorable. Love the colors. I took a look at your shop and I love the Teddy Bear t-shirt. I bookmarked it for future reference and future baby shower gifts.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam! I just sold that teddy bear shirt, but I do custom orders so just let me know when you're ready.
DeleteI love this! I'm going to visit your shop.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I'm going to visit your shop.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cynthia, I just got your custom order. Thanks so much!
DeleteGorgeous - I think people who can sew have such a genuine talent! And as many people above have mentioned, the color combo is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you popcosmo! I love that everyone has different talents, it makes life so much more interesting.
DeleteThis is so cute! Great choice of fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThank you Designed Decor! And thanks for visiting!
DeleteOf course loving the colors. Turquoise is my "new" color that I've been buying a lot of lately. That's awesome you got an order. I'll be checking out your Etsy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam! I love turquoise too and it's very popular right now!
DeleteO my this is simply adorable! Love the color combination! Do you have much luck selling on Etsy?
ReplyDeleteThank you Leah! With Etsy it took a little while, but recently business has been picking up a lot. I think it takes so many sales before your items start getting "seen" more.
DeleteRachelle these wallets are so unique! I love to craft and sew too. Although I am not as skilled in sewing as you maybe, however, it's inspiring for me. I love retro colors together. Like aqua with coral, aqua with red or aqua with pink. Can you see I like aqua? ha ha! I will be following you on Pinterest and blog.

Thank you for the suggestions Rosenda! I'm definitely going to try the aqua and coral and probably the aqua and pink.
DeleteGreat color choice, and a very fun product. Best wishes for your shop!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the good wishes.
DeleteVery cute! My sister sews, I'll have to suggest something like this to her as she's looking for some things for some holiday bazaars. (And I love the color pattern! It looks really cute with the background of the blog too!)
ReplyDeleteI love selling at craft fairs/holiday bazaars. Good luck to your sister!
DeleteThe colors are gorgeous together! I am going to check out your shop!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I really like how they came together.
DeleteI love the colors and the inside layout. I will also go and check out your shop.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Sometimes I add an extra 4 card pockets on the inside.
DeleteYou have very impressive sewing skills. This looks like something you'd buy at the store!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! You are so sweet!
DeleteI like how you were creative with the inside of the purse. You did a fine job designing and sewing it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Val! I have made about 20 of these, so I don't even really have to think when I do them anymore.
DeleteFantastic wallets, you are very talented at sewing! Wishing you the best of luck with your business :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the compliments and best wishes.
DeleteBeautiful fabrics, beautiful colors, and beautiful design! I'm pinning it.
ReplyDelete--Gena
Thank you so much. You are so sweet!
DeleteOMG, I am in love with this. So, SO cute!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennifer!
DeleteThis is so cute and I love the color combination! I also think a nautical theme woudl be cute...but then again I always love something beachy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestion. I'm going to try that. I heard recently that royal blue & red are going to be the next big color combo in fashion, so I was already thinking of doing those colors, but I really like the idea of a nautical theme.
DeleteAdorable! I love anything red and aqua :)
ReplyDeleteI just made something similar, but on a much smaller scale. I really like this, though. Perfect size!
Thank you, someone else suggested that color combo too. I did make a "make-up" bag with those colors, you can see it here: http://stitchesbyrachelle.blogspot.com/2013/07/teal-red-pouch.html
DeleteLove your shop! This wallet is a great idea and I love the fabric combination. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Amber!
DeleteVery nice, you are very creative. I'm assuming since the wallets and pouches are fabric that they are machine washable. I wouldn't mind a Hello Kitty Pattern or a pattern using my Avatar.
ReplyDeleteJae Mac @ I'm Just Sayin'...(Damn!)
Yes, you can machine wash on a gentle cycle. I usually hand wash mine with Woolite. Thanks for the suggestions. I don't think I've seen any Hello Kitty fabric for a long time, so I'll have to keep my eye out. Your avatar is so cute, that would be fun too!
DeleteThese are so very cute! Love them!
ReplyDeleteThank you Annie!
DeleteThese are gorgeous! I love all the vibrant colors. You are a woman of many talents! That's so awesome. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I really love what I do.
DeleteGorgeous color combos - I love wallets / pouches. I have loads of them in my purse and each one serves a different purpose. I'm off to check out your Etsy shop now!
ReplyDeleteThank you Denine, I don't have very many wallets in my shop right now, but you can always place a custom order.
DeleteNICE wallet!! Looks like something I would really enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah! I do take custom orders so if you're ever interested let me know.
DeleteThat is adorable! What a great job. I love dots and stripes......and the more stripes, the BETTER!
ReplyDeleteI love both of those as well. I just recently finished polka dot pouches, there up in my shop now. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThis came out great! I love the color combo. I am also obsessed with blue and white chevron pattern.
ReplyDeleteI just made a aqua & white chevron wallet recently. you can see it here: http://stitchesbyrachelle.blogspot.com/2013/09/homemade-wallets.html
Deletethanks for stopping by! I love chevron and plan to make more wallets/pouches with several different colors.
Beautiful! I've been carrying the same old wallet for years, this makes me want a new one! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah! I do take custom orders so let me know if you're interested!
DeleteYou have a great eye for color. I know your store will be a great success! I would not have imagined the patterns together but they are great!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I do not sew at all so I very much appreciate those of you with this talent.
ReplyDeleteI am a sewer (well more of a quilter), too. I do not like to make purses and wallets because the sewing feels too fussy. So glad, that there are people like you who do like to make those things. The wallet is very cute, and I hope that your shop is doing well.
ReplyDeleteCute! I love pinks and turquoise right now!
ReplyDeleteThis is so stinking cute! I love the color scheme! (:
ReplyDeleteVery cute! A turquoise blue and purple stripes and polka dot combo would be irresistible too.

Beautiful! I love the color combination that you used for this wallet! It is simple, cute, and functional! I tend to hold on to the same wallet forever and get a new one when it starts to fall apart, I think I need to branch out and get some fun into my purse! Krista @ A Handful of Everything
