{chris's custom wallet}

Don't you just LOVE these fabrics?
I love the combination of these colors. This is a custom wallet that I made for my dear friend Chris.
Have you seen a color combo recently that you think would work great for a wallet like this?  How about different prints?  Stripes, polka dots, gingham, characters, floral, chevron, etc.
Leave a comment and give me some ideas of what you think would look great together.
If you'd like to order a wallet similar to this head over to my shop and place a custom order. You can choose the colors/prints/fabrics and I will try to find fabric as close to what you request as possible.
Please note that I cannot guarantee that I can find exactly what you would like, but I will do my best.

    1. Thanks Carrie! I wasn't sure if I wanted to gather up the big circles because I thought it might mess up the print, but I like how it turned out.

    1. Thank you Leah! With Etsy it took a little while, but recently business has been picking up a lot. I think it takes so many sales before your items start getting "seen" more.

  14. Rachelle these wallets are so unique! I love to craft and sew too. Although I am not as skilled in sewing as you maybe, however, it's inspiring for me. I love retro colors together. Like aqua with coral, aqua with red or aqua with pink. Can you see I like aqua? ha ha! I will be following you on Pinterest and blog.

    1. Thank you for the suggestion. I'm going to try that. I heard recently that royal blue & red are going to be the next big color combo in fashion, so I was already thinking of doing those colors, but I really like the idea of a nautical theme.

  27. Very nice, you are very creative. I'm assuming since the wallets and pouches are fabric that they are machine washable. I wouldn't mind a Hello Kitty Pattern or a pattern using my Avatar.

    1. Yes, you can machine wash on a gentle cycle. I usually hand wash mine with Woolite. Thanks for the suggestions. I don't think I've seen any Hello Kitty fabric for a long time, so I'll have to keep my eye out. Your avatar is so cute, that would be fun too!

  37. I am a sewer (well more of a quilter), too. I do not like to make purses and wallets because the sewing feels too fussy. So glad, that there are people like you who do like to make those things. The wallet is very cute, and I hope that your shop is doing well.
